On a corner like this the dollies did not need to be steered. If it was a sharper corner, someone would steer the dollies away from the corner. This prevents the rear end from cutting the corner.


All of the dollies under the house are equipped with brakes. On flat ground stopping isn't a problem since high speeds are not involved, but on hills the brakes are nice

 


Yet again another set of wires. Contrary to popular thought, the utility companies are the limiting factor for how long it takes to actually move the house. It takes longer for the utility company to move the wires than it does for the housemover to drive in between them.
